Family Support Scotland

Funding & Donations

Our Promise: Full Transparency & No Profit

At Family Support Scotland, we believe families deserve honesty, openness, and trust.
We want every supporter to know exactly how funding is used  and how it directly helps families across Scotland.

We do NOT profit from any funding.

We are a non-profit, volunteer-led organisation.
No one receives a personal income from donations.

Funding is used ONLY to support families and keep our service running.

This includes:

☕ Teas and coffees during support sessions

🎂 Birthday treats for children who’ve never had a celebration

🧡 Family day trips for overwhelmed households

💬 Emotional support activities

📄 Resources and guides for families

🎓 Volunteer training

🌐 Website fees

📝 Office supplies (printing, paper, pens, support materials)

🚗 Travel costs so volunteers can attend face-to-face meetings to support families

Many families need someone beside them in meetings with:

School

Social Work

NHS

CAMHS

Housing

Support services

Travel funding helps us be physically present for families who feel alone, scared or unheard.

Every penny is accounted for.

We keep clear records of:

Donations received

How funding is spent

Support activities delivered

We hide nothing.

Everything will be publicly accessible.

We will share:

Annual funding reports

Simple breakdowns of spending

Updates on what donations helped us deliver

Transparency statements available for all to see

Your trust means everything to us.

We support families not profit from them.

Your donation directly helps:

💙 A parent feel supported in a difficult meeting
💛 A child celebrate their birthday
💜 A family have a rare joyful day together
💚 A struggling parent enjoy a peaceful coffee and a listening ear

Every contribution, big or small, transforms lives.
